i also do not agree. bisphenol is dangerous alright, but in accumulative form. to avoid being too much in contact with it (i dont think we can avoid it altogether, unfortunately) keep any plastic from acid and/or heat. these two condition cause a higher release of bisphenol into the substance held by the plastic (usually food)
and yes, that does mean no dishwasher for any plastic container. or microwave. or lemonade. or tomato sauce.
but then if you reall get hyped on toxicity, dont have any treated wood or PVC plastic in view of the sun. this releases dust that can be toxic, and it spreads in the air, lands everywhere inside the house.
